Principal Accountabilities:

Load supplies, plants, etc., and transport them to different areas as needed. operates a variety of cars and mechanical equipment for maintaining gardens, lawns, and other areas.
replies to inquiries from the general public on horticulture.
may be necessary to carry out landscaping tasks like building retaining walls and sodding, among others.
Possibly needed to oversee other employees.
Important Qualifications: Your resume has to list your qualifications in relation to:
Horticultural diploma or certificate, or comparable training and work experience.
substantial background as a professional gardener
must be eligible for and maintain a valid Class “G” driver’s license issued by the Province of Ontario, as well as meet all requirements and permits related to the use of city-issued equipment.
having an Ontario landscape exterminator’s license or being able to get one when needed.
